Not at all! They were a bit nervous, I suppose. It's always difficult to be subtle without being misunderstood.

To talk and to read is fine. To listen is a nightmare.

Mexicans have gone. Me too. To later!

I've often wondered. Is Mexican Spanish much diffrernt than Spain Spanish? I've always thought it was comprable to AMerican English vs. British English.

The same thing happened with the Crimea thread. Rooperi started something good, about discussing current events, and 800 post later, it got locked. ( I'm sorry, that's for Pulpofeira, I'm out)  No comprende!!

BTW, I don't speak Spanish. I speak English, French and German. That was google translate.

  • #32

  • #33

There's a separate thread for Italian.

    Well, I'm catching up now.

Jordan, my son, you are 15 y.o., a chess player and a future physicist, and you speak English, French and German... thanks, you've made my day (at least I speak Spanish better than you... for the moment!).

Kay and Keelof: a Shpaniard only recognizesh the different English accentsh when reading... however, Spain Spanish (!) and Mexican Spanish are easy to distinguish. ¡ÁÁÁNDELE MANITOOO!
