One of the staff posted a long time ago that the drills are perhaps the most underused feature on the site and your post is a good example of why. They're really for testing new skills that you've learned elsewhere (usually Lessons or videos). I wander over there now and then to practice stuff I already should know how to do. They certainly aren't for learning new skills unless you have a great deal of patience.
How do the 'drills' work on this website ?

'_' mmm...I'll say...I think I'll stick mainly to my lessons instead.
Recently I went to the 'drills' section and '_' ..from what little I can articulate at this point, I mean to say how it came off to me as 'extended series of puzzles' and b/c I didn't really know what to do, I kept pressing hint a lot until I got to the end of the drill.
I think this was for the 'rook and bishop v. queen' drill under the 'defending' category..I mean to ask if there is a 'wrong way' to go through the drills on this site in contrast to a 'right way' where apparently an amateur might not misuse ~1 hr to go through the long set of expectations/moves a single drill might entail.
