Relevance?

So are you legitimately concerned with the site's well being or are you publicly venting your frustrations with rhetorical questions and/or facts/figures you made up.

so that you don't have to answer?

The next time you buy an iphone that doesn't work properly because you are holding it in the wrong way, the next time your car gives you trouble and your mechanic tells you he can't fix it, the next time you walk down the the street and slip on ice because the local authority hasn't treated the pavement, just remember that millions more have no problems with theirs. It must be your fault

That is such a bad analogy. Obviously if you buy a car and it doesn't work like everyone else's, then it's not your fault. But the site is the same for everyone, and works for everyone just the same.

i haven't made anything up, i merely posed a question, there is no rhetoric in that question, which so far has remained unanswered. A few people have jokingly made up their own numbers, and a few others have (unsuccessfully) tried to point me in the direction where i might find that information.

In another topic, where staff were leaving other users to help out, i was repeatedly told i had three choices. 1.Wait patiently for the troubles to be ironed out; 2. Complain louder; 3. Leave

I waited patiently. I am now voicing my displeasure more loudly, but there are more numpties on this site than i thought, who like to think that everything is ok, simply because it works for them.

The changes were poorly planned, poorly executed, and the aftermath has been poorly managed.

you're missing the whole point - the site is NOT the same for everyone

waffllemaster

Well, that may be true, because I have no problems with it.

Because I hardly use all the features, so I don't know what problems there are.

Quoted for truth. After the initial outbreak because it was hardly announced, I held my peace for over a month. Not much progress has been made during that time.

If this doesn't improve soon, it will be time to start filling out the BBB complaints. If this was a free service, all the points would be moot - but as a premium member, I expect that if I pay for a year, i get full service for a year. Which I'm not.

kco

of course is different to everyone that because of thiers different computer, browers, connection types and so on.

waffllemaster

Aww, I think you're fun snakesbelly, keep on keepin' on man.

I have yet to see a specific example of something that is missing (I did ask!). Browser incompatibilities - well I don't know if you're using an ancient browser but it's reasonable for the site to expect you to use a recent-ish one - they're free to upgrade after all. I've had no trouble with either IE or Chrome. Do you guys really not have average time per move? Mine is right here - the text is missing admittedly but it's pretty clear what it is.

Nothing ,just ignoring the snake, hey what do I care ,I have only loved and cared for this thread from the start, there were the jokes, the OP's lewdness coming here was, well ,like coming home. Now there is a cold atmosphere here. The bickering the arguing ,the ignoring. But I'm cool. All coolness here. Watching it all go up in smoke .

I have witnessesd your care and nurturing for this thread, may it continue to grow warm and strong :)

And I would like to say that you have become like a brother to me( if you are male ,if not, I would like to say you have become like a sister to me)

We were there from the start with Gambit-man... who is more like an uncle to us, an uncle  who is kinda cool but should never visit more than three days ,unless you don't have to see him much in those three days.

I too feel the same way :), i mean i dont think anyone actually has read the title of this thread anymore, they just come for the family.

May you continue to reap bountifully and may you shed a thousand skins

I am not sure if this helps but; maybe you are asking the right question in the wrong place.  How is anyone that would be able to respond to your inquiry able to give you the answer that you are looking for when they are all obviously still using the site?

i was rather hoping that there were statistics available somewhere that someone could point me towards. there have been a few pointers, but it seems the actual figures i was looking for are either not kept, or not published.
