The forums themselves are off topic. Naming the most popular forum "off topic" doesn't absolve admins of this. By allowing so much nonsense you drive away serious posters.
For example I've been enjoying Reddit, where a person can post about a chess topic, and adults who who know about chess will reply.
Notice most of the spamming kids have 3 digit ratings and can hardly write a full sentence. It would be bad enough if it were only off topic, but it's also garbage. It's clear admins don't care about the forums... although this is very old news, as I (and others) have been saying it for years.
I'm a spammy kid but I'm also 2500 on lichess so it's not all of us.
The "kids" have finally ventured from off topic to see this hit piece.
Be advised, they have organized an emergency meeting to address the allegations....
i challenge anyone outside of otf to beat me in chess. if i win you have to admit otf is the best forum.

I most certainly have to agree, that considering their standing and wealthy as ever they sure should be hiring those that are placing much payed effort to make sure things run wayyy smoother, absolutely. But, at the same time there's a couple decent volunteers, and clearly one's Martin.
