Based on games I've played, there was couple of "crowns" statuses of players, and so far maybe 1-2 diamond membership. I don't believe that diamond is the most popular. Although diamond membership gives you a lot of good stuff, but consider couple of alternatives ( e.g Chessbase, which IMO has more good stuff )

I'd suggest that if you buy diamond that you use the resources since you bought it and you need to realize how much resources there is
