I want to break through my current level

Thank you so much for your kind words that really means a lot to me 🙏
I totally get what you mean. I’ve been feeling a bit stuck lately, and it can get frustrating at times. But hearing your perspective reminds me that making mistakes is all part of the learning journey. None of us are perfect, and that’s okay
Let’s keep learning and improving together step by step, we’ll both get stronger!

Though I am no professional, is there anyway I can help you improve? Something in particular you are struggling with?

If you're trying to get better at chess then you're good at chess.
thanks IM trying now

Thank you so much. I think I’ve hit a bit of a plateau lately
I used to play chess just for fun, mostly with friends it was a great way to relax and pass the time.
But at the club, when I play against other players, I keep losing and making mistakes
That’s my biggest problem right now
Maybe it’s more of a psychological thing than anything else
But still, thank you for your kindness.
I’m guessing your chess level must be quite high have you ever played in any tournaments? ♟️

Absolutely! It’s a good mindset to have.

It’s not “that” high, haha. I have been working on improving my chess rating (online) and have gained over 100 points in the last month. But I am not an expert. And I have yet to participate in an irl chess tournament. That would be cool though!

Hello Sally Kim it's OK to have mistakes you will learn from them I was once Stuck at 300 now I'm 2000 try solving puzzles looking at videos studying openings I can help you if you want just send me a message

I think there's some fundamental chess knowledge that will improve everyone's game and likely some things specific to each person.
For me it was playing too quickly and lacking discipline, so I've started playing "daily" games and aiming for higher accuracy. As the saying goes- when you find a good move, look for a better move.
Do you ever get frustrated when playing chess? It's really frustrating that you always make mistakes or miss important opportunities
