idk if this is cheating or not

Hey,

im a newb and still dont unds the trophy league/rank thing.

As far to what i have read on the rules and terms on earning trophies, is usually what is written on the player leagues page of rules.

is usually +9 for normal 5mins blitz and such.

But is it possible if you win you can get +43 trophies?

does it differ if you are in a different league even though your points on that match is fairly close?

Not trying to throw fire anywhere, i just need knowledge.

Let me know if i have been wrong with what i know about rankings and trohpies

Winning 43 points is normal when a pro rated player loses to a bigginer, but losing 43 with similar rated player is not normal.

Winning 2 points by winning with a bigginer is normal. In this case, the bigginer have to be a new or low rated player .

sorry, correct me if wrong, so he won that 43 cause he is new? but that person is on crystal league and joined last year while i joined last month. so can you explain to me how he won +43?

+43 elo, not trophies in the leagues!

i see but again, pls correct me if im wrong. To my understanding, to gain more elo points the other person has to be a pro rated player and you will need to win against them. But in this case that other person has 4 more points than me. Doesnt that make me not the pro rated player?

I found that in blitz and bullet, chess.com remove more points, maybe it's why you loss more points. You will play rapid more then blitz, bullet.

The site uses the Glicko rating system that includes a measure of rating uncertainty called the rating deviation (RD) value. Players with few games in a pool have a higher RD value and players that have larger gaps in play will also get a higher value.

The higher the RD value, the larger the rating change after games. As more games are played, and more recent in the case with larger play gaps, the RD value decreases as does the magnitude of rating changes.

You get 15 trophies if you win rapid, never heard of 43.
