is live chess at chess.com up and running already?

Isomebody sent me a message inviting me to play 5min games, I don't think live chess is up yet is it?

Please keep in mind that the live chess is still in its early stages as there is still much development to be done and bugs to be fixed.

I am unable to connect to live chess. It comes up as bad gateway.

It finally connected to the server but I didnt see anyone online...Also does it carry our ratings from main site or does it have its own rating system?

The online chess (correspondence) and the live chess will be separate ratings. You will have the one rating for your online chess games and then the live chess should have three different ratings: Bullet rating (0-2 minute games), Blitz rating (3-14 minute games), and Standard rating (15+ minute games).
