I have this chess set that I have had for years- My parent bought it in Spain (not sure which part) in 1976 or there about- I can remember playing with the pieces for hours as a kid! Not in chess games but imaginary doll house play- I would play chess with my dad- as he was a huge fan.
The board is marble and the pieces are all hand carved wood (I think so anyway- from what I remember)- The white castle and the blue bishop were attacked by our Cocker Spaniel (Dody) back in 1979- The board is 24"x24"
Does anyone have info on it?
