Mind Games Update

Hello Everyone,

Wow! What a wild ride the first round of the 2014 World Mind Games has been so far... and it's NOT over!

This has been our most participated in event ever here on Chess.com! Below is a list of ALL the qualifiers (minus the removal of abuse or cheat offenders) who will be moving onto Round 2!

But before we get to that list, I want to remind everyone that

• You can still look for updates on the tournament in the *main* Mind Games group here: http://www.chess.com/groups/home/2014-world-mind-games

• All Round 2 Qualifiers need to accept their invites for the Round 2 group here: http://www.chess.com/groups/home/round-2--2014-world-mind-games -- and if you have NOT accepted our invite or your group invite settings are closed -- you will simply not get as many chances to qualify for Round 3 as the others

• The official rules can still be found here http://www.chess.com/news/official-2014-mind-games-tournament-rules-2919 and anyone who has questions on how our top finishers will move onto the "Prize Round" of Round 3, can find that information there

• Rigorous cheat detection will continue to apply in Round 2. Obviously we are disappointed that so many players were disqualified during this qualifying portion (include a titled player) -- but we hope it serves the "greater good" in proving to the world that we will never settle on anything but making our site the best, cleanest most amazing chess site in the world... and that if you cheat on Chess.com, titled player or not, you WILL get caught!

I played in the tournament and I came in third on tiebreaks but I got a 1 point bye in the last round so could not get any tiebreak points while all of the people got 1 more game so I was at a disadvantage. Can I still go on to the next round? I lost by 2 tiebreak points.
