SO, your conspiracy is that Chess.com is trying to make you fail and humiliate you or something, and only pretends to offer a fair game.

I suppose then that every loss is proof that chess.com or its participants aren't playing a fair fight and that you are wildly stronger than you seem.

this is all interesting, and even if your category does not include me, I'm an innocent bystander who is speaking up- mostly to understand why religious zealots hate you?

• how many accounts do you think is real?  are you accusing chess.com of creating fake accounts to make people fail??
• why would chess.com stop people from getting better?
• if chess.com is constantly making everything harder, does staying at the same rating mean I am actually improving??

not that I'm chasing you away or anything- but if the mods hate you and all the people posting here are also against you- it makes no sense to be here and certainly not to Post here.

on the other hand, there is at least the Possibility the mods Don't hate you, that the site glitches sometimes, and that there are lot of people with a lot of different motives for being here- many of which Don't have anything to do with you

It is obviously a software timing/sequencing glitch.  A little bug.  The move gets entered by your opponent, but does not get relayed to you.  You get fed up and resign.  Then the server catches up and makes both moves.

No-one is out to get you by adding moves after you had resigned.

No, I don't think so. There were time I was playing that my opponent moved and then his clocked still ticked down afterwords. I got a free clock time. It was really weird.

Another time I was about to get mated and the game kicked my opponont out so that he wasn't able to play the mate.

There's weird things with the website software and with the people who use it, both. I mean come on... you don't even know what your own account name and picture is? Unless everyone here is on drugs, what explains that?

Just software glitches.  I have also lost games in winning positions because the site would not let me move, despite having plenty of time ... until the time was all gone and I lost on time.

But most of the time it works okay, and as for its effect on ratings, I reckon it must even out over time, because it must happen to my opponents as often as it happens to me (which, by the way, is not very often).
