Hey folks I just want to know what all of you think about the chess.com webpage. Do all of you like the new site or think the old one was better? I just want to know your opinions so please don't make me look controversial.

Why don't you post your own opinion first?  Don't be afraid.

Is there something that really really bothers you about the new pages?

There must be something which motivated you to make your first thread after six years of membership.

Can't say as I like it much. Why mess with a good thing? The forums, on the other hand, need some serious improvement -- this place is worse than an old BBS.

What I don't like is, the position of the board, now it's off to the left and occupying less than half of the screen. There's an icon to reposition it, but it doesn't seem to actually function. If  there were individual frames that could be resized manually instead of trying to make it all Flash, that would be an improvement. But like I said, it didn't really need to be improved in the first place.

There are only two good things about the change that I can see. First, the play description, listing whether it's the Grob or the Polish or whatever. That's nice. The other thing is that everything is now on a single page, before if you wanted a game from chess.com, it always opened a new tab.

You can make the board smaller, or larger if it isn't at its max size,  by clicking on the resize icon, holding and dragging; left for smaller, right for larger.

One thing to note, if you nean the program/plugin, the site isn't Flash and v3 doesn't need Flash at all for things hosted on site (not 100% sure about Chess TV though).
