I’m sorry I haven’t played too much for a while but today I felt like analyzing my games and after the first one I have to pay for premium? That is so sorry I can’t believe how desperate this site wants us to pay for premium. I mean seriously, first it was the puzzles which I thought was sad because there’s literally a website with nothing but chess puzzles for free online. But this analysis thing is sad because honestly I get it it’s a unique service but the fact that you have to pay for it is so sad.

Basic membership has always had one full review per day. You can do additional low depth, limited feature reviews after. Use if the manual Analysis can still be done.

Knowledge is not free

Fun fact: analysis with the engine is still free and unlimited on chess.com.

What you are confusing it with is "Game review", but that is useless anyway, so it does not matter.

NootGoodEnoof

It no longer shows accuracy of a game and does not allow you to save without premium

I just played a suspicious game and now I have no way of checking the accuracy of this game.

In other words,

USE LICHESS, IT IS BETTER, DO NOT GIVE THIS SITE MONEY

I pay for it and it hasn’t been working. Sometimes it just spins the circle of death and other times it crashes the app. Annoyingsville

just go to lichess because chess.com is gaining full monopoly on chess sites and if even lichess dies it means chess.com can just make everything for money even limited analysis

Nonsense. You can just download Stockfish for yourself, for free.

Errrr, I thought they were FREE?! AND THIS CAME WITH MONEY?!

now manual review is paid feature too

haveyouseencyan

I have paid for a year of membership, but did not pay the extra for game review. Although I like the feature, didn't think it justified the extra cost.

Puzzles is the only thing I care about.

No it's not. Move Feedback (classifications) on self analysis is premium only but basic engine analysis isn't

Effortless knowledge isn't free.

If you're willing to put in the work and time then you can have your analysis for free.

firissdD_MS

Free?

There is a simple trick to evaluate your chess.com games for free. You just go to share, copy the pgn, go to lichess (you need an account), select tools, select 'import game', paste the pgn and tick the box for computer analyses and you will get a perfectly nice analysis (without comments though).

By the way, I noticed lichess engine gives you different percentages for accurancy compared to the lichess engine.

I hope I don't get banned from chess.com for this comment xd

Even small differences in settings of the engine could affect evaluation. So it's not a surprise)

I'm currently building a chess analysis website but it's just two days old so please don't be too harsh, many features are still missing. I would like to understand what features people would like to see in the future. I will be working on a game review mode soon

Lichess, here we go. Should have been earlier, but somewhat shamefully I must admit that useless UI features of chess.com kept me for a while.
