Offering takebacks

Simple enough concept - why is there no feaure here to offer your opponent a takeback after an obvious mouseslip?

It would be a nice feature for gentlemanly of us, who accept that we are only humans and we do play this game mostly for fun - but whose fun could be ruined by a simple mouseslip.

I play mosty 10+0, so I rarely run into time trouble, but even in OTB-games, you can take a piece, ALMOST let go of it as you are realising your mistake and move it somewhere else.

Why not have the same idea here? When you see an obvious mistake for your opponent, you can offer a takeback, which would reset your time back to where it started and let your opponent have a do-over.

Obviously, you don't NEED to offer your opponent a takeback after they hang their queen, but it could be a nice gesture for the gentlemanly of us.

Whaddaya think? Is there some good reason against a offer-takeback function?
