People are funny!

I played someone who failed to notice I had an obvious mate in 1, and instead threatened my queen. I felt a bit guilty about it, and it would have brought an interesting game to a premature end, so I offered a draw. They rejected it. I put the winning move in chat, and asked them to offer me a draw as I couldn't re-offer. The sent a crying-face emoji back again, having obviously realised what they did, but clearly didn't know what to do about offering a draw. So I made an innocuous move and offered the draw again on the assumption they'd accept.

They rejected it and nicked my queen instead!

Blooming cheek! I resigned, but hats off to them for sheer cheek and determination to win. This little episode really brought a smile to my face, I do like humans.
