Yes, this is the way we all learned to play chess. Question : do you play 3 minutes or 5 minutes or what games ??? When you try to play the same type of opening in more games, you get confidence in your own play. GO ON !!!

Yes, he'll never amount to anything in chess which is why they even titled him NM, Never a Master. Can't say the USCF doesn't have a sense of humor. Must have been Finegold's idea.

i did not ask for approval you could have said no it's normal or it's actually bad , in 2 months you should have done better than 400 elo .

I dunno man. 400 ELO in 2 months is good for a steady player of 10 years, but for a beginner, I dunno. Most likely you started out as a complete noob and worked yourself up to your real ranking once you did some very basic reading up on the subject. How do I know this? Well, according to Chess.com's stats, I went from ~700 to ~1100 in the past 60 days, and that was my experience. I certainly don't consider myself a chess prodigy [yet].
