Thanks a lot but are you sure theres no prize money for unrated players?
It says
Unratedmay enter any section, with prize limit U2000 $900, U1700 $600, U1400 $300
Wouldn't that mean if I enter Under 1400 section and I win, I can get $300?

Aah yes, you are correct!
Also, it is a good idea to practice taking chess notation with a pen/pencil and paper while playing your games online. When I first started playing tournaments I found that taking notation was a big distraction for me because I wasn't used to it.
I'm an Unrated Adult player from New York and would like to play in this upcoming tournament.
Unfortunately, I cannot comprehend all these abbreviations and such.
1. How much is the entry fee?
2. Do I need to pay for the USCF membership?
3. How much is prize money?
4. Is this teams?
5. What does the Orange text I highlighted mean?
