Ppl cheat here

What's going on here? Sometimes I loose because of lag and sometimes I get a draw because of insufficient material. There are obviously ways to not loose a lost game for some.

Neither of those are cheating. Lag happens and there are some steps that you can do to minimize the lag on your end. The following is about disconnects but if you are on a computer, many of the suggestions can help with lag. I would also disable Flash for the site.

Draws by insufficient material are a real thing too in OTB chess. The implementation here is different than FIDE rules and is a slight modification of USCF rules. Details on that can be found on the last line of the following.

If one side runs out of time and the other side doesn't have mating material, as explained in the second link, then the draw is declared.

Actually is one of the most natural rules of the game.

no something is going on. recently I've lost a lot of games because I'll start a game be unable to move then "lose* because I resigned. then I get warned my account will be suspended. this didn't happen before the last update.
