Problem with 'ELO'

I've just win a game against Valgra.

And my 'Elo'  is now  1810, against 1816 a few seconds ago ?

We can loose points when we win a game ?

Not an authority or an admin, but I'm certain that's not supposed to happen.

I think that can be classified as a bug unless you lost a game in the same moment as you won your game against Valgra.  Report it or talk to an admin, and they should get it fixed.

is this the life meant to be.

Look at my statistics !

what is the procedure to contact an admin ?

The preferred option is to Report the Bug at

Valgra was the real winner of that game because he had more fun.  Therefore, you lost points.

Chess.com has moved to golf rules. So aim for the lowest ELO possible. I seem to be doing a great job with this new system. Sealed

thanks for the report! i have fixed your rating. it's kind of a long explanation of what happened, but basically we have a cache of where people's ratings are, and for some reason the cache pulled from the 2nd to last game, not the most recent one. that is due to the fact that today we moved a server behind a new switch and lost about 3 seconds of cached data which affected only your game :) sorry!

Well they're no Beatles, but you've got to at least appreciate them a little bit, no?

petermilt,

you have somehow wondered into the wrong thread.  can you please return to the thread you originally quoted this comment from before you create a chess based time rif.

thank you,
