Profile Themes, how to make your background “see-through"

I try to make a nice theme for my group Marilyn lives!

I want my background to be see-through, as in this profile: http://www.chess.com/members/view/cheeky_chicky , and I can't find how to do that.

Any help very appreciated!

Had a look at the pages. There is a difference. I suppose you are using version 2?

In version 3 they are similar.

Gosh, I just posted on another forum that thinking is over rated, but now I feel slightly IQchallenged....

"version 2 or 3" ? If i were blond I'd deserve it... pls explain.

Of course I am on the themes page. I was busy designing my group page, when I got the seethrough idea.

Yes, V3 is the new user interface.

In V2 which you seem to be using now, you can go to themes and choose custom theme. There are many settings there. One of which might make part of your homepage transparent. Haven't researched it yet. I will have a look when I find some time.

I don't like V3 either. Themes are much less adaptable there too. One can just choose from standard themes. Within a couple of years V2 will be completely discontinued after which this whole topic becomes irrelevant.

Hi, I tried various settings in the themes. Can't find an option for setting opacity (transparency) though.

So can't help you. If I bump into cheeky_chicky in the forums I will ask her to contact you.

Speaking of see thru. Check out one of the gorgeous ladies in one of my teams. She's a see thru hottie! 

 

Thanks for the help and the jokes. I found out myself just now what to do.

For the boys and girls who are also helped by some clear and simple instruction: do nothing! no background colour, just choose your own background picture. Easy-peasy...

 @ cheeky   I'm not a see-through kind of guy. I'd prefer it to stay a small mystery until the 'moment suprême'.  So much better. 

@ Sam    NO background color. OMG, should have thought of that, haha. So easy. Must have missed that option in the drop-down menu.
