Agreed. I haven’t really changed how I use the events and things with the new format but that change will force me to reconsider what to do with clubs… it’s entirely public or entirely private…

Also seems harder to learn for newer users now, if you don’t read carefully you’ll end up creating the wrong type of event. If we are not able to get the old format back I’d like to keep full functionality from it.

Live chess lost a few things when they added chess.com/play, didn’t it? Haven’t seen a way to add time recently. Hope we don’t keep losing features I’m sure were hard to create in the first place.

Beta hates something, .com goes through with it, community hates it, .com keeps it.

Obviously it is up to the chess.com staff to decide what to add and what to scrap, but as @Brooksvillechess said, for something that Beta hated this much, it makes Beta seem entirely irrelevant. Also, in addition to Beta, the community as a whole hates it, members have left, and clubs have disbanded… with my emphasis on the members leaving part, I don’t see what reason is too special for chess.com to get the club ui back to how it was before. Chess.com makes money with its members being happy with the site, so I don’t see why they do things like this which make members unhappy.

Yes, bad decisions like this discourage active members from getting premium memberships, and those active members can be club owners and popular figures whose opinions carry far, which is why I don't understand why chess.com is sostubborn with these type of decisions

this is for a club i am OWNER in btw so everything should be accessible

then theres the tournament creation which.... just redirects to /play/tournament which is such an annoying and confusing thing AND so its not fullscreen for no reason at all

i do see why combining all past events into one thing could be seriously annoying (but incoming and outgoing challenges must be separate!)

wheres the club daily match ranking, that would be fun!

Forums and Notes are at the same level on the front page, so they can be easily tabbed between. There's also links to both in the sidebar. As to which should be shown, some clubs use notes and some forums as primary.

The Private club description is under that label and below the Public description, under About Club in settings

Incoming and Outgoing challenges are in separate tabs.
