Puzzle Rush 3 vs 5 min

Does anyone know if the chess.com Puzzle Rush uses a different pool of puzzles for 3 minute versus 5 minute?

I haven't played timed puzzle rush in a while (until just recently playing a few) and my current 3 minute record is 37, but my current 5 minute record is 40. Are the 5 min puzzles a tougher pool? One would think I'd be able to get much higher than just 3 puzzles difference considering that the latter rush is 2 entire minutes longer.

I think a lot of people have higher 3 minute than 5 minute is because 3 minute is a lot more popular so people just play it more

I was wondering if only I feel this way! I have felt this too! I play puzzle rush every single day before I play games! In 3 mins, I can score more than 35 consistently, but in 5 mins I struggle to reach 38+ despite having 2 + mins on the clock. In 5 mins, I am sure the puzzles get tougher after 25, you will have to start burning time for every puzzle after 30. But in 3 mins rush, I can solve pretty quickly until 32-33! So, yes! I do feel they use different pool of puzzles for 3 mins and 5 mins rush!! 5 mins is more difficult to solve. 😄

My best 5 minute is 39 (average 7.8 per minute) and my best 3 minute is 31 (average 10.33 per minute). Or an average of 15 seconds for each of the additional 8 puzzles.

It does seem like 3 minute has easier puzzles.

My best 3 min is 39 and my best 5 min is 47.

Personally, I think 5 min puzzles are harder.

In 5 minutes rush you have more time, so you have more difficult puzzles

I did 3 and 5 minute puzzle rushes almost every day and I never noticed it lol.
In puzzle battle (which is 3 minutes) I'm almost sure that the puzzles are easier but in puzzle rush I really don't know.

Don't really care tbh. I just play for the sake of playing.

Interesting observations. I haven't been playing either in a while now. I should force myself to rotate those back into my process.

I'm not always quick with the Puzzle Rush solving, but I thank chess.com for survival mode.

Moi aussi, 31 and 39. Right now I'm trying to score 40 in 5m, but I always fail to do it. I think maintaining good speed as puzzles get harder is the main problem.
