Really, Chess.com?

With that being said, you as a site are not allowed to have the public under the age of 18 according to many laws... People trust this site with their kids, and you (chess.com) failed... oh wait, it's a lawsuit now. Better call Erik, tell him to slip me a nice five thousand, and we’ll make sure the court never hears about this...
The site is 13+ and handles inappropriate content as soon as it's known.
I remember on the forums, I was arguing with one guy about who was cooler etc etc, and out of nowhere, he posted a full-screen photo of a postmortem surgery. It stayed on the forums for, I’m pretty sure, more than five minutes… I was 18 at the time, and it wasn’t sweet...
I can’t even imagine how that would mess with a 14-year-old, though.
Bottom line, there’s no excuse for letting stuff like that affect minors—13 and up are still considered minors, no question
Thats disgusting. And considering a lot of U10 year olds violate TOS by being here still see all of that, i think its gotten worse over tje last months. Chess.com is always growing, so are trolls, so should Moderators

An unwritten rule you dont know abt maybe? Anyway i do think chess.com Mods use their powers unfairly a lot. Im not calling names, but i think many do
It's not a rule, written or unwritten. Also, if you feel a kid was unfair, report it.
Direct advertising isn't allowed however.

Calm the flip down, probably its just your internat lagging. Maybe bring it more specific. You sound crazy just saying all engineers(i think you meant developers) should be fired

I have just encountered adult content for the second time in the last 5 days, im not sure if i can leave link to this content. but Wtf is this? I see U10 year olds on this platform.
Bro, I 9
You probably forgot to add the zero at the end . . .

Boom. The most straightforward way to prevent this is just to remove the ability to post any media other than text. Simple yet effective...

No idea what u just even said brrrr
That’s probably ‘cause you’re 90… dementia, you know… 😏

N.1 13 year olds are kids, N.2 ive seen so many U13s theyre bragging abt being e.g 7 or maybe 9. Those kids dont read TOS. And i specifically said double moderators, not staff. Ik staff is in support, developing etc more, but rhey should still sometimes be able ro hwlp out
Based on how much content there is, including edits, it would probably take hundreds of moderators to find most things and even then, some would get missed. If moderators were paid and had shifts, maybe less but still a lot, and still things would be missed.
Add to that, the vast majority of content looked at would not need moderated but would still be screened. Potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars (but likely more than a million for a sufficient number of people) needing be spent to find inappropriate content likely comprising less than 0.0001% of all content.
Not saying it doesn't have merit but there's better ways to get similar results.

MARTIN, can i share the @ in this forum??
While a baby picture isn't extreme, please do not post links to any profile that might have something against the TOS.

Where can I review that adult content to give my expert conclusion?
Maybe dont say that infront of martin
