I've had entire live games just sit there like i'm waiting for my opponent to make a move and nothing happens until the game ends and I lose cause I didn't move even though it showed me waiting for the oppononent :(
running into a live chess problem

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the following live chess problem and if they have, how has it been resolved? When I join a live chess tournament, before it starts, I play a random blitz game. If that blitz game goes beyond the start of the tournament; I am unable to jump over to my first tournament match, resulting in a loss due to time.
I appreciate any feedback.
