Chess.com will be going offline at 10:00am PST. We will be down for approximately 45-60 minutes.

I have no idea what that means, I suppose I could look it up, but why should it be necessary?

Isn't it possible to add a small unobtrusive clock somwhere (menu bar?) that shows the site time?

Pacific standard time, that's in about 10 minutes.  GMT-8

What exactly are peak usage hours? There are people in almost every time zone, some play at work, some play after work, some play into the wee hours of the morning. I sure wouldn't do a bunch of upgrades at 3 am if I'm still going to have a bunch of cheesed Kiwis.
