Some Chess Sites have program to claim table draws if positions are dead drawn!?

Some sites I play on allow you to put a draw claim in if you have a dead drawn table position such as opposite bishops endings, an example was I had the position recently of two knights v lone king, the position we had was a dead draw, lower rated players would probably not know this and play on regardless to infinity having such a program can save a lot of energy as with other such drawn positions would it not be good for chess.com to have such a system built in too!

Yes we all know of the 50 move rule, however this only covers: A player to claim a draw if no pawn has been moved and no piece has been captured in the last 50 consecutive moves? This is totally different from a position being dead drawn where the above scenario does not apply here!
