tomorrow GM Kraai is doing it, and i won't be there with him. i'll probably watch some of the show though (so be in the chat channel).

ticked off that we stopped the broadcast before the end of the game? or ticked off during one of the platinum+ broadcasts bc you could not access that one? you should have been able to see several broadcasts by now, no?
Why does it take so much to implement the new interface without video?
As for the actual game, maybe it would be much better if you record a 20 mins analysis of the game, after the game is over. I mean, who has the time to watch a 5 hours broadcast and who has enough energy to make such a show? I play on ICC, so I can watch (or record) all their transmissions, but that's just way too much time. Of the live coverage they had until now for the match I only watched the first game for about half an hour. And only because the broadcaster was Svidler.
As for why it takes so much time for the new interface, I'm guessing because they didn't make the first one, they bought it, so they basically have to design the new one from scratch.
As for who would watch an entire broadcast, lots of folks, including myself. I've watched all or almost all of games 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. I missed 8, and I'll miss tomorrows, but plan to watch 10, 11, and probably even 12.
I suspect you could even get a third party live-podcast audio feed much like the third party video feed, but I think maybe you underestimate the effort that would need to go into the shared board which is 100% proprietary.
i'm so weak, i probably shouldn't be saying i'm "sure." but a lot of strong players told me he did...
Including World #1 Magnus Carlsen, whose opinion of the position was indirectly cited on the broadcast.
In Game 9 I have lost the chat feature during the game(Crazychessplaya said he couldn't see the chat either). However, I can still see the board and watch GM Kraai and hear him.
He uses those cool arrows to explain. Why don't the other announcers use them as
it is a terrific feature?
IM Danny Rensch has a golden voice and a good sense of humor. On the
constructive criticism side during "Your Games Analyzed" a lot of people were
asking him to slow down as he really can speak fast. He also uses those colored
arrows well like GM Kraai.
NM Arun Sharma is very good when he sits in on the chat and answers random
questions from members.
GM Kraai is the best all-around. He stays just a move or two behind the
game and is very clear and simple to understand in his explanations.
I noticed the "Your Games Analyzed" listing for 5/20 is no longer there. Will
there still be a show Thursday at 5:00 PM?

Oki, thanks, it will try to catch it tomorrow (well, i'll be mostly studying but game it's long [and I'm too lazy]), will you be in?
