Support Coaches & Managers

Kid Chess, the most popular after school program in Metro Atlanta, is currently looking for Chess Teachers, Support Coaches and Managers. If you love working with children and working in a positive environment, then you will love this job. Most new hires will be part-time (approx. 14 hrs/wk) during after-school hours (approx. 2:10pm - 4:50pm) but full-time is available for well qualified candidates since we are opening our facility for tournaments. We provide full training.
We have low turnover in our staff because we assemble teams who are educators, other people who have strong chess backgrounds, and still others who are great with children. If you have any of these traits, we are interested in talking with you. There are multiple coaches in a classroom teaching the game of chess to children.
We teach chess at 58 different elementary schools therefore we can select schools near you and keep your drives short.

*Experience with children and education
*Chess playing ability
