Things have changed since the time & the Virus . . .
Besides the large 22 lb Turkey we had other things . . . I miss it . . .
We are also Italian and 3 chesse Lasagna was served when grandma was alive. We had the turkey, mashed potatos, potato salad, three different vegetable salads, cranberry sauce, brown gravy, french rolls, real butter, two stuffings, pumpkin and apple pies, ice cream and apple cider. To bad I ate too much.
At all our gathering nobody drinks beer or hard liquor and very few have a glass of wine with dinner.
I played four games of chess with my grandson Kai takes losing without a fuss, but he remembers what the moves were.
We played two real chess and two take me chess, who ever loses all the pieces wins. . . .
We played on a wooden folding box that held the wood pieces. It was the first games played since I gave it to my fourth son as a present. I purchased it in Mexico in 1958.
