The clock punishment

Blundering isn't the end of the world. I blunder a lot too! But I feel so sad and annoyed by the kind of punishment that I often have to suffer when an opponent - unhappy of losing - consisting in letting the clock go (not even disconnecting) without playing.

Amateurs' fair play is really low here. Except the clock punishment, there are also many name calling, cheating accusations, people counting on me being disconnected to win or draw a game without hope (sadly, sometime wasting the beauty of a good game with smart moves from both sides).

Thanks for remembering that chess is a winderful game, but just a game, for fun, please be like a friend to your opponent and respect them happy.png

Actions ranging from warning to account closure are taken against users that are fond of allowing their time run out, instead of playing on or resigning when it is clear that the game is completely lost.

When you come across such behaviour, report such user for stalling.
