CPQ itself was a hoax lol. I thought it would bring more popularity to variants but in the end it was just another money grabbing scheme that brought people in and out in a matter of days, and now they're doing it again with the cash tourneys in September. Funny thing is Danny doesn't even care (he told us about cash tourneys on State of Chess.com) because he called server crashes a conspiracy (I think you saw the clip in the 4pc discord).

Yeah for sure. CPQ was I thought a great idea but that also is nonsense since cc got a partnership with Twitch. I didnt even get paid out half the time

Here's why I'm taking Chess.com's side. In the 15 or 20 yrs that they've been here, they've learned a thing or two. They've learn't that the sheer mention of hit-ler is going to upset at least 2 groups of people.....the Germans, & the Israelis. If you throw in a half dozen other countries.....Italy, U.S. Russia, U.K......there are at least 20 million people who can not play chess because of that guy.

If the blog was "not breaking any rules" then why did your TB get removed it makes no sense

The TB got removed because they do not want to award it to someone blogging about Hitler. I know that seems to be too much for you to understand but that's how the world works. Why did Mark Zucherberg steal 30 million followers from Elon Musk? ANS.....that's how the world works.

I think the problem here is that maybe Colin made that decision by himself instead of consulting other staff. Which is totally fine, but even then the staff team still has to consider that only one person was consulted and maybe asking other staff with different views would change Hornet's thought process when making this blog

A lot of very naive ppls here. Nazis and fellow travelers go out of their way to pull stunts like this on and off line, then whine about their freeze peach or they were "only " asking questions/having a discussion, etc.

No dude, just no. And if you need someone to explain why, then the mods made the right call.

A true history buff would realize that us ignoring certain people and events in history is why USA is screwed right now.

Why is a small reference to Hitler bad? He did not praise him or even talk about what he did, just the game.
