No man,he don't think good.I thouht you are smarter Reb.It is logic. If somebody put example: NM loser,NM Tonyal etc...man if you are titled player then say name or just write a few articles. You know what I mean it can be kids who did it just for joking.Or because that person use engines and if somebody see rating on chess.com will not suspect in him.

Titled players have to prove that they are titled players Dalmantinac. Chess.com requires them to send in photo ID as well as evidence of their over the board rating. Whether or not they're here to seriously compete or just joke around with some fellow chess lovers makes no difference.

The masters on this site don't have to do any of those things. You must provide proof to have a master title. This is why I don't see how kids could be joking.

EDIT: Perhaps you need to make the dinstinction of users who have a NM / GM / IM / FM as part of their username as opposed to players that have the master "tag" to their name. I mean, my name could have been GM_Checkers4Me, but no one should assume I am a GM, unless I had the GM tag. I think I explained it correctly.

I just submitted another article, without my connection breaking. I do not expect to play chess here and have my connection lost during the games. If I did, first of all I would not enjoy playing. Of course my rating would be hundreds of points below what it "should be." My connection often goes away during posts. I have gotten some pleasure out of playing online (elsewhere), but stopped as I find it more rewarding to spend some of that time studying. I do not want to play slow chess online either. I still do play over the board with visible partners. In fact, I have played tournament  and blitz against some of the titled players. I hope it was not suggested that Nigel Davies is a fake. Was it meant the his name is being used by someone else? I could not be listed as a titled player on my say so. Readers of my posts suggested to me I should be listed. I had to send copies of my national master and life master certificates plus my drivers license (with photo) to Erik before I could be listed. Hopefully, someone else is not using my name or I am not using someone else's name. A fake would need fake proof.

Nigel davies is a respected author and still an active GM tournament player with a fide rating near 2500.  I  would consdider it a privlege that he plays a  game against the entire site. Or are you saying the guy saying he is Nigel Davies is not Nigel Davies?

Chillax, he was joking. We have, afterall, played a vote chess game against Mr. Davies, so its obvious that its a joke.
