Against any and all AI (Artificial Intelligence systems.)
I, like many here, have played thousands of games and in a few of these have played gems that at some point have aroused either
the anger or appreciation of a few opponents and to which I've been told..."You're cheating. You're playing using a computer."
No, I don't and have never used a computer in my life but with the arrival of this new AI system and others perfected I ask the Chess.com creators how in the hell are they going to cope with this thing? It can very easily get out of hand. I'm no master at the game and I don't believe I ever will though I have at times beaten a 2000 level player. And I've also been beaten so bad as to fall underneath 1700 just to get it back up again but this AI thing could prove the end of playing chess online should it infiltrate this body (world online chess community.) And I don't want every player I encounter to be a simulation or a person USING AI to beat me and others.
If I wanted to play a computer I could just open up my MAC and take hits all I want but outside of learning a thing or two on logical moves and proper sequences to openings...no fun there.
So enlighten me Chess.com. I'm sure other people here would like to know how we're to proceed.
Sincerely,
Charles Ortiz
