I'm not a paid member and I get them still
Turn off chess.com's recommended lesson notification after games?

I suppose it will dawn on them sooner or later that no one takes the offer up. The last thing you want after losing a game is chess.com thumbing its nose at you, accusing you of being a beginner.
So, it's an annoyance. Big deal. Just go on to the next game and forget about it.
I would rather incessantly complain about it and refuse to move on, though.

I hate that..

Do you know an alternative to chess.com website?

Dangit chess.com is censoring messages that say anything about alt sites
Exactly!
It is just a business for them to make money.

I think these "helpful" suggestions are as annoying and insulting are they ill-conceived and unwanted but the implication that they were implemented for profit makes little or no sense.
The intention seems well-meaning but in the way one might view a benign monarchy. Having such unnecessary nonsense forced on you, even with the best intentions, is poor management but certainly not capitalistic.

It bothers me because it makes for a poorer experience using this site.
Chess.com is clearly a business, and they have as much right as any other business to do whatever they feel will generate more revenue for them. I suspect the pushing people towards lessons after games, does have a financial motive behind it (though I don't know that of course), assuming the lessons offered are a limited resource, and you need to upgrade to a paid account in order to access more of them (once you're hooked). I must sound quite cynical, but maybe life teaches you to be so...
to me.it's strange,i never receive it,maybe it is because i'm not a member
Me neither. Never seen it.
