Turn off chess.com's recommended lesson notification after games?

Maybe it's only valid until the browser data is cleared. But that is of course not as it should be. I know the game analysis settings are reset when I clear the browser data (like analysis depth).

I've literally now moved to an unnamed alternative site because of this, and considering I was playing here every day (and now haven't played a game since the 29th) I sure hope chess.com are losing ad revenue over it.

Remove the prompts, and I might return.

bruh why does it bother you so much

Because it comes off as condescending criticism when I'm just here to relax. If I wanted someone to message me and remind me that I was bad at chess, then I would turn on chat and let my opponents do it.

The option "No, turn them off" does not work indeed. Now I have just seen it myself.

The problem has been resolved for me. I no longer recieve unclosable (un-'x'-able) pop ups recommending a lesson after losing. I did spam the 'report a bug' function several times which may have helped but received no word from those working on the site that this has been resolved for everyone. So if you are still receiving unwanted lesson pop ups then we still have a problem. All the best to chess.com but unclosable pop ups are unforgivable and a clear sign that the site is engaging in unethical business-facing, corporate-douchebag behaviour. It's a simple fix: add a close button that stops the reoccurring pop up.

OT - why do I get no lessons recommendations when I win the game... :-) Just for information on non paid account I did not observe the message.

Does anyone know how to switch them on? I accidentally turned them off. grin.png
