“Vacation” rudeness?

So, I have a one day game going that was pretty hard fought but have my opponent at a mate in 1. The position is obvious, but with 58 minutes left on their clock they take a “vacation.” I imagine it is possible that some serious event occurred - like Covid, but it annoys me nonetheless. Am I being too picky?

Yes...just premove your mate in 1 and wait.

Hah! Someone vacationed me for like 5-6 weeks. One day I get an email from chess.com telling me I won!!! My opponent decided to resign. I’ll take an easy victory.

It’s time chess.com reviewed this “ Vacation “ rule. The amount of time allowed is ridiculously long , one week is quite enough.

I'll check that out! Thanks.

I agree with @Woollysock, stalling is pretty unsportsmanlike
