Verbal abuse during blitz games is out of control on chess.com

I have never accepted a chat and been happy about the decision and most of the time I regret it. Has anyone accepted a chat and had someone say anything neutral , helpful or positive? If so maybe I'll try again.

Usually I just type lol or something if something dumb happens or thanks if my opponent accepts a draw (like when asking for a draw because I mousliped in the opening )

Today I come back to Chess and in all games the players were doing Verbal Abuse. I just take print screen for the last game. From today, I will print all verbal abuses.
On this print screen, an example. I played the first game and I won. He asked the second game, then he started to say to me resign in the middle of game. Then, I have the idea to print and report here. 

What about the Chess is doing about thoese loosers?

Players are reported en masse and chess.com is taking action, but it's a continuous battle. Over the last 3 months they have closed between 4k and 5k accounts for abuse per day.

It's a problem that probably won't be solved without a change in our online social and social cultural norms. There is an unlimited supply of abusive players to replace the ones that are banned.

But keep reporting is probably the only solution.

I'm no longer accept incoming chats during the game, because messages are almost always abusive or annoying. But it's a shame it has to be this way.

Thank you Duckfest, I suspected the problem was pretty big but I had no idea it was on this massive scale.

Good to know chess.com is at least doing something about it, and I'm glad I raised awareness about this.

We all need to be polite, respectful, and kind to each other.

Too many kids and childish adults. I suggest not paying attention to comments.

Whenever you get verbally abusive comments just be cringe and say womp womp cry about it

Bro this chat in chess.com is getting out of hand.I faced racism by a player just because im Indian I have reported him and he should get banned for racism . Like these trash talkers even message racist comments in my message box because I am an Indian . Chess.con should immediately ban such type of players who spread hate for absolutely no reason. Reporting works. I checked your last game and your opponent was already muted.

People are not automatically banned for making racist comments. Chess.com hopes that mutings will discourage most people from continuing to make such comments.

How do you check if a person is muted or not and btw thanks :)

Sadly true. We are here to enjoy a game together. Why can't people just play and give each other a few good words after?
