Make a new account and say you play in tournaments.

Yes, when you sign up and Chess.com asks your experience level, you can say you are an advanced player and you will receive a high initial rating estimate.

But you will lose a lot of games, which for most people is not so much fun.

I play like a 7 or 8 hundred but I only have 300 elo since I don't play a lot so I actually do win some at 1000 elo

i'm genuinely surprised this guy didn't say what i thought this was going to be.
anyways there's this cool feature they added to this site where if you're good at the game and play enough your elo actually increases, isn't that crazy?

Most efficient way to go about this is by getting better at the game.

Did you pull those numbers from your laundry? Maybe the game rating? Perhaps you don't know that those are inflated and full of nonsense?
