What does it take to get account suspended for timing out?

I have to estimate that over a third, possibly half, of my wins now end in my opponent timing out.  If I was to collect the "may have their account restricted" warnings, I would have a lot of them, that's for sure.  And while this can happen to anyone, there is no doubt that it happens twenty times more when an opponent is losing than when they are winning.  So...what does it take for an account to be suspended?  Whatever it takes, it should take less in my opinion.

What time controls are you talking about?

JubilationTCornpone

Kleelof, the time control I am talking about is 10 minute blitz.  That's what I mostly play.

Kaynight, I don't want to try it and see because that would mean I would have to mistreat people by timing out lost games and wasting their time.  However, I would like people to stop doing it to me.

Blitz is centered around the clock. Flagging has nothing wrong with it?

JubilationTCornpone

Kaynight, in practical terms, I am sure you are right.

Zigwurst, no of course there is nothing wrong with flagging.  And, there is nothing wrong with someone playing on down two queens in the hope that I will blunder a stalemate.  I only object to them intentionally disconnecting and making me wait for the clock to run out.

Oh, well...probably time to get over it.

Zigwurst

It sounded like you were talking about flagging. Sorry for the misperception.

I doubt that half of your games are decided on disconnect.

JubilationTCornpone

Well, the half I lose are not decided by time-out since I don't do that.  Of the half I win, less than half, but possibly about a third are so decided.  So, 1 in 6 overall.  It still seems a lot.  Actually, maybe I'll start to keep track.

Zigwurst

From my wins, I'd guess that about a maximum of ~75 are disconnects. It isn't as often as you might think.
