A brilliant move is move that increases the chances of you winning. Most brilliant moves are sacrifices that are wroth. [E.G : Like you sacrificed your bishop here]. By sacrificing your bishop here, If black king takes it on f7, you can take his queen on d8 and which will weaken his position and he won't be able play with the most valuable piece on the board [Unless he promotes his pawn]. Or if he plays Ke7, you can play +bg5 giving him check, if he takes your bishop on f7, you can capture the queen on d8 with your bishop or your queen. If he plays knight f6, blocking the check, then you can slowly attack with all your pieces.
What does this mean? brilliant?!
why is this brilliant? isnt it obvious? what is a brilliant move? can anyone explain?
i also dunno
I think it may be incorrectly given as brilliant even according to chess.c's dubious criteria for "brilliant". I'm not sure it wins by force. Have I missed something?
how is that brilliant?
