I believe there's currently an activation process that people have to follow to verify their e-mail before they can post content - unfortunately, there are services that provide throwaway e-mail addresses for exactly this sort of purpose, although a lot of these recent attacks are using Gmail accounts; it may be possible to report this to Google and that they might have some anti-spam processes in place. We're looking into it.
Well using chess.com app, we can give a fake mail and our account will be activated :(
I agree with the ton of recent spam that Staff has dealt with in lightning speed and all the other nonsense threads. One guy was complaining about a conspiracy that if you win a game against a "paying" member, bad things happn to you.
He had a number of us going for awhile. I wish they left that thread up a little longer. I just wanted to add that I beat a slightly higher rated person recently and just then, out of the blue, my T.V. started going on the fritz.
Coincidence? I don't think so.
Kind of makes you wonder what Erik is doing with V3.
