The "Dark Wood" theme on chess.com is the greatest, in my opinion. Long games are easier on the eyes, and it has a vintage vibe. It is easy to identify threats because of the stark contrast between the squares. It is aesthetically pleasing and functional enough for concentrated play.

If your a gambling/ casino style guy like me I like the club piece and then black and gold chess board
