What are the points on my Home page? How do I earn them?
Activity Points are an index of your participation in the more social or community-oriented aspects of Chess.com.
You get a point every time you...
- comment on something
- create a forum post
- post a blog
- publish an article
They simply show how active you are in these areas. You can't buy anything with them! :)
I'm sure this has been asked somewhere else but I can't find it anywhere. When you hover over it it just says "Points", but nothing seems to match up with it, for example my live tournament stats say I should have zero points if it was based on that. It also doesn't seem to have much to do with the quality of the player or the amount of games they play.
