I wish the mods would treat player toxicity more seriously.

Hmm. It doesn't look like you play here much at all. I see 9 games in your history and none since May.

If you reported one of your previous opponents, you wouldn't probably be aware of what actions were taken.

My previous account had 3000+ games. I know exactly what actions chess.com takes, and I'm saying it isn't enough. Particularly when the toxicity manifests itself on the forums and blogs, rather than in individual games.

I don't get how you can possibly not understand what it is that I'm referring to.

I don't see how you could be aware of what the site is doing unless you are or were a staff member or moderator.

If you are talking about cheating, the site is making strenuous efforts.

It is a big site with millions of players.

Well you tell me, Mr. Moderator. What did chess.com do to stop Kramnik from spreading all his bull**** for all the years he was posting it? Do I need to be an employee to know how long it was that they did absolutely nothing?

I think they should change it, so that if you beat your opponent they die irl.

Well, they did close his blog two years ago (December 2023)-- https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/kramniks-blog-was-closed

And they muted his account at the same time.

/ Not nothing.

Don't put all the blame on PianoJames. In the 10 yrs that I've been here, a few people didn't work out as mods or Staff. Today I heard that a third of the people applying to be I.C.E. agents are not passing the physical exam. surprise You don't get nosey with your neighbors about why their marriage didn't work out..... why get nosey with the people here. After 15 yrs, and 2 back operations, I'm not driving a school bus anymore either. happy

Get rid of the INANE comments prior to the analysis enable the analysis to go step-by-step and tell you what opening you are in and shift back-and-forth to the self study mode. Maybe show different opening lines

it would be nice to be able to play puzzle rush but have the option to select a specific type of tactic motif like pin, fork, hanging piece, mate in 2 etc.

Probably about tournaments: to give higher rated players more points for a win than low rated, so that we can somehow win in tournaments. Because in Arena for example, it's impossible for me to win as quickly as for beginners, because you know, their opponents quickly get crushed, and resign, while my opponents are stronger, and might not resign even if their position is hopeless. I don't know how else this problem can be solved

I think chess come should:
1. Strengthen anti-cheating measures and transparency without compromising security by releasing more generalized data or case studies showing how they differentiate between a brilliant human move and computer assistance. I believe this would help educate the community and reduce suspicion.
2. Address cyber-bullying, harassment and reputational harm seriously with priorities, estimated effort, and measurable metrics as fast as possible!
3. Work together with FIDE and organizers for creating World-Class Chess events on the board or online.
That's all, thanks.
