is that what you are talking about? or do you want to know whwat part of the site you are currently on (news, echess, articles, etc)
what part of the site would help a lot for people who think opponent is online means that they will move soon. i'm a bad offender of forum surfing during MyMove.

so while you are in the forums reading forum posts you want me to remind you that you are in the forums?
not for me, but i was thinking for people who are waiting for me to move. i don't have a problem if my opponent is logged in and is ignoring the on-line chess, but i imagine others to be more impatient. haven't heard any complaints from the other side so you could chalk it up to cyberneurosis.
the original original post may have been referring to ranking, which i think is appropriate for gaming not talking.
Like, when you click on players, and you see Rogersky and Jeff18, it'd be nice to see what place I'm in. I know I'd be in the thousands, but I think it'd be cool.
And when im looking for myself, there are only three pages at a time. There should be a whole row of page numbers, or a page search. That would be a lot better.

I think what he is referring to is a standing that denotates how high his rating is out of all the other chess.com player ratings. For example, I might be 500 out of the 96,000 or so players we have here. (An example, not a prediction).
Hey Erik, I think I will fix that problem for you if you don't mind. I know java, C++, C , and assembly. I don't know which language you use to write this program, but I believe it is too easy for me to fix. It's just create a loop, set initial count to 1 , and increment the count by 1. and print the count.
