I know 1100 ELO is considered a low rating in the grand scheme of things, but i wont lie... Ive worked so hard just to get here. I have spent so much time and have literally played thousands of games just playing for fun and not caring about anything that had to do with principles. I've recently started playing seriously and my first goal is making it to 1500 elo (rapid)

Any tips on how i can reach this goal. I would appreciate advice based on my recent games. THANK YOU! Have a good Knight lol

Learn exactly how to think in the opening, middlegame and endgame — this is what I teach.
Always blunder-check your moves.
Solve tactics in the right way.
Analyze your games.
Study games of strong players.
Learn how to be more psychologically resilient.
Work on your time management skills.
Get a coach if you can.

1. Don't hang pieces to some simple tactics 2. Take your opponent's pieces when they hang them. That's it. A lot of people will tell you that you need to do some long list of things like studying master games, learning some endgames, or studying 20 moves of theory. But really it's all about not making large blunders. See:https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/comments/1kr044n/gm_ben_finegold_explains_the_simple_reason_his/

don't obsess over openings

start looking for potential sacrifices and tactics

get used to and comfortable with deep calculation and don't just hope for the best
