Whoa, whoa, "I am face of chess" thread deleted?!

Okay, not to stir the pot, but I would like to learn, so please enlighten me.

The thread was almost certainly a troll thread.

Having said that, what part of the post was making fun of handicapped people and got everyone so offended?

I thought the rule of civilized forums was that if a troll thread can be interpreted as serious you give the benefit of the doubt (eg. the suicide threads that pop up on these forums).  The situation:

His original name was: I_am_handicapable

Handicapable/handicapped/ mentally-challenged, its all semantics, all the same thing and, depending on context, not offensive.

His picture, which can be found on the internet, was this:

This is a picture of someone that is mentally challenged, nothing offensive about it.

And what he said was this:

"I keep winning yay! I like pie and color blue yay!"

Even if you take in the context of all 3 things put together, which part was offensive? Did he say anything disrespectful or say something about his profile image that was disrespectful?

I think everyone was making a big deal over nothing, and the fact that everyone took offense is more offensive.

I wasn't involved but it sounds like it was making fun of people with disabilities. If deleted, that is likely why.

He said he wasn't handicapped and his avatar is a stock image.
