Bill Wall USCF 2000 rated 2403 here
billwall
My rating here comes from being active and playing over 400 games with people rated less than me (with some losses and draws).  I get about a point a game.  I have not played any titled players.  I would expect lose to any of the titled players OTB or here.
TheRealThreat

I think that Dembo, Yelena maybe one of the strongest player. She has not lost a game yet.

billwall
I have Yelena ranked 6th by Elo rating.  There are at least 22 others rated over 2200 that have not lost any games.  There are four grandmasters and one international master rated higher than Yelena Dembo by FIDE, but they have not played any rated games here.  She is the most active titled player.  She has won 116 games and drawn 11.  Her highest rating here has been 2570.  The average rating of her opponents is 1700.
dalmatinac
GM Nigel Davies is probably the strongest player on chess.com.
PlyrMava
yelena dembo is the best here and that othe WGM because they have not lost a game yet, bapooya and cliburn have

Who's the best, or who's the highest rated? I've got a new improved pine scent, so I should be in the running ; )
cwc
nigel davies is the best with difference
Loomis
Rakhmanov is also blogging about his OTB chess and even made a tournament here on chess.com where other members can play with him. So if there's more to being "best" than just your rating Aleksandir gets my vote.
billwall

Gonnosuke,

That would be Eric Schiller (lowest rated titled player) against Van Cliburn (highest ranked non-titled chess.com member).

shady_knight

I think we should all go to beta chess a certain time and day and have a huge brawl and you can see who is the best here.  my money is on fiends.  turn-based chess isnt real chess. an average player can boost his rating a couple thousand with the time alloted to think over all the possibilities...if you doubt fiends isn't the best...play him live...oh and he's beaten billwall many times live...and rusudan...and rahkmanator think's he's a cheater...cuz that's how much fiends is better.

honestly I suck...but if you want to see skill play fiends...challenge him when he is on...and he will accept...he hasn't lost ONE game on beta chess yet.  quick blitz or long.

billwall

Shady Knight,

Not a true statement that he has "beaten billwall many times."  Maybe fiends should respond, instead.  You are making some false claims, and I have never said that fiends was a bad player.  I beat him in a turned based game already (you can check that fact out yourself) and he has not "beaten me many times."  I do acknowledge I lost one 5-minute game with him in April in a game that could have gone either way.

cwc
i have said that nigel davies is but i am starting to thing that rakhmanov is getting higher in my ladder i don't know who to choose
TheOldReb
There is no doubt in my mind that the best chess player on chess.com would be one of the GMs registered here, and probably one of the few with over 2500 fide rating. IF they were to play a face to face match with anyone here who wishes to challenge them. On the net there is too much cheating going on to ever really, and honestly, determine who is best. Look how few titled players are even in the top 50 here. Really, how likely is that ?
