I will keep an eye out. Seems to me though that if only a small percentage members are affected the site should just release the 'fix' instead of a limited release.

The limited release is to make sure there are no bugs or additional issues that caused the first attempt to be pulled.

But what does these different leagues even mean? Do they have any affect at all?

There was a competition that started when they launched back in December.  That ended back in February.  There were cash and membership prizes.

For most people, the competition has ended.

There are, however, once a month cash prize tournaments in the Legends league.

I do not really understand or care about these new Chess.com leagues but I got an alert today that I have apparently been upgraded from the Wood League to the Stone League.

Do you get such a designation just from playing a lot and how important is success rate? I have played maybe about 30 games in the last few days with only moderate success.

If anybody could shed some light on this I would be most appreciative. Thanks in advance.

Here's the link to the explanation of Players League.
