Why can't bots play more like people?

I've seen complaints that playing a bot is nothing like playing a human. If that's true, why is it? Programmers can program a bot to beat a grandmaster--why can't someone program a bot to play like a human?

Hi TromboneAI,

Interesting question! Bots don’t play exactly like humans because they lack the intuition, psychological factors, and occasional mistakes that define human play. Bots calculate moves based on algorithms and probabilities, while humans rely on experience and sometimes "gut feelings."

That said, some bots are designed to mimic human tendencies by adding randomness or intentional errors. However, perfectly replicating the quirks of human play is much harder than just optimizing for strength, which is why bots often feel less "human."

Hope that clears it up!

I turn uncertainty into a symphony of moves

Because the people programming them are f****** stupid. All they literally have to do is train the pots to do the moves that people do most of the time. Instead they trained them obviously the exact opposite way to do moves that no human would ever do ever. So when you go to play humans you have absolutely no real world experience that helps you in any way.

Yes, he did.

It's the correct reaction to your nonsensical spam.

No matter how hard robots try they will never replicate humanity. They usually play perfect or near perfect until a certain point where they will start playing obvious garbage moves, which is why I hate playing against them. Human opponents all day.

i really dont think bots are like humans... Take Martin for example, he is the staple of a bot.
But saying that it is also important to say that, these bots including martin are programmed to understand and recognise traps, so there's that

I prefer human players than bot players.
